Our ceramic grinding cores are available in alumina (95%) and steatite. In terms of application, grinders with alumina cores are generally reusable, while grinders with steatite cores are generally disposable.
Alumina ceramic is the most widely used fine ceramics material. This material has superb characteristics such as high wear, chemical resistance and environmental protection. Therefore, alumina is generally applied in reusable grinders. Grinders with steatite cores are often designed for one-time use, which is conveniently disposable once empty.
The product you're looking at is made of 95% alumina.
