The main features of the boron nitride ceramic parts
1) BN is an easier machining advanced ceramic than the others, it can achieve the accuracy of 0.01mm;
2) The dielectric strength is 2300v/cm, which is 8 times that of Al2O3; RT resistivity at 1000ºC>10-7 Ω.cm;
3) Excellent thermal shock resistance, recover one hundred times from 20ºC to 1000ºC without damage;
4) For common metals (iron, copper, aluminum, lead, etc.), rare earth metals, precious metals, semiconductor materials (germanium, silicon, potassium arsenide), glass, molten salts (crystallite, fluoride, slag), inorganic acids, Alkali does not react.
The description of boron nitride ceramic
Boron nitride crystal belongs to the hexagonal crystal system. Its structure is similar to graphite's, and there are many similarities in performance, so it is also called "white graphite."
Boron nitride has good heat resistance, thermal stability, thermal conductivity, and high-temperature dielectric strength, making it an ideal heat dissipation and high-temperature insulating material. It also has good chemical stability and can resist most of the erosion of molten metal. Boron nitride products have low hardness and can be machined with an accuracy of 1/100mm.
The application of boron nitride ceramic
Boron nitride can be used to make crucibles for smelting semiconductors and high-temperature containers for metallurgy, semiconductor heat-dissipating insulation parts, high-temperature bearings, thermowells, and glass-forming molds.
It is a new type of high-temperature-resistant super-hard material used to make drill bits, abrasive tools, and cutting tools.
