The description of the metalized ceramics

The metallization of alumina ceramics (min. 94.4% alumina) was performed by the molybdenum-manganese process in hydrogen and nitrogen reduced atmosphere under 1250ºC ~1450ºC cured. After the sintering, the metallic coating will adhere to the ceramic part, the typical metalized layers consist of tungsten as well besides for Mo/Mn. In order to enhance the brazing effect, certain electroplating will be covered by metallization layers, such as nickel, silver, or glad plating, then the metalized ceramics can achieve ceramic to metal, ceramic to ceramic joining application well.
