Product Description

Aluminum oxide possesses excellent electrical insulation, mechanical strength, thermal conductivity, and chemical stability, therefore,  an important use of aluminum oxide is to be packaging ceramics of semiconductor devices. 

Due to semiconductor devices are always suffering from heat problems during use, heat dissipation is required, meanwhile, devices also need to resist external mechanical forces as well as need to withstand the test of harsh environments. Therefore, alumina is often used as an ideal material for manufacturing circuit boards.

When the alumina ceramic plate is relatively thin, it shows a certain degree of light transmission, which is unfavorable for some semiconductor devices that are sensitive to light or radiation. The black alumina ceramic plate has the effect of light absorption or light shielding. Another reason for processing it black is because the black color can hide the conductive lines embedded in it, such as black tungsten electrodes.
